Section 31-21-6-2 - Enforcement of a child custody determination made in another state; remedies(a) An Indiana court shall recognize and enforce a child custody determination of a court of another state if the court of another state exercised jurisdiction in substantial conformity with this article or the determination: (1) was made under factual circumstances meeting the jurisdictional standards of this article; and(2) has not been modified in accordance with this article.(b) An Indiana court may use a remedy available under any other Indiana law to enforce a child custody determination made by a court of another state. The remedies provided in this article: (2) do not affect the availability of other remedies to enforce a child custody determination.As added by P.L. 138-2007, SEC.45.
