Section 28-1-7-9 - Execution and filing articles of merger(a) After the signing of the agreement of merger under section 8 of this chapter, articles of merger shall be executed and filed in the manner provided in this section, setting forth: (1) the agreement of merger;(2) the fact that the merger has been approved by the department;(3) the signatures of the corporations that are parties to the agreement;(4) the manner of its adoption; and(5) the vote by which adopted by each of the corporations.(b) The articles of merger shall be signed on behalf of each corporation by its president or a vice president and by its secretary or cashier and shall be acknowledged before a notary public.
