Section 20-30-5-8 - Safety education

A course in safety education for at least one (1) full semester shall be taught in grade 8 of each public school and nonpublic school. The state board shall prepare a guide for this course that:

(1) the teacher shall use; and

(2) may be revised under the direction of the state board.
