Section 410 ILCS 525/13 - [Effective Until 1/1/2025](a) Violation of this Act is a Class A misdemeanor.(b) Any person who violates this Act shall be liable for a civil penalty not to exceed $1,000 for each violation.(c) The Council may request the Attorney General or the State's Attorney of the county in which the violation occurred to proceed in a court of competent jurisdiction to secure such relief as provided in this Section, as well as injunctive relief to restrain violations of this Act.This section is set out more than once due to postponed, multiple, or conflicting amendments.
