Trust companies organized under Article 1 of Chapter 53 of the General Statutes shall hereafter be governed by Article 24 of this chapter and may take such steps as may be necessary or appropriate to conform to the provisions thereof. The Commissioner shall allow a period of up to one year for this transition.
