Section 23-17.30-8 - [Effective 1/30/2025] Notice to visitors(a) If a resident conducts authorized electronic monitoring, a sign shall be clearly and conspicuously posted at each facility entrance accessible to visitors. The notice must state the following in large, easy-to-read type, "The rooms of some residents may be monitored electronically by or on behalf of the residents."(b) A sign shall also be clearly and conspicuously posted at the entrance to a resident's room where authorized electronic monitoring is being conducted. The notice must state the following in large, easy-to-read type: "This room is electronically monitored."(c) The facility is responsible for installing and maintaining the signage required pursuant to this section.R.I.
