Section 166:23 - Citizens establishing and maintaining lines

Selectmen may authorize citizens of the commonwealth to establish and maintain, in their town, poles, wires and other apparatus for telegraphic and telephonic communications, in conformity with this chapter and other laws applicable to telegraph or telephone companies.
