Section 23B:34 - Massachusetts healthy homes program fund
(a) There shall be within the executive office of housing and livable communities a Massachusetts healthy homes program fund. The fund shall be credited with:
(i) revenue from appropriations or other money authorized by the general court and specifically designated to be credited to the fund;
(ii) interest earned on such revenue; and
(iii) funds from public and private sources and other gifts, grants and donations to support the habitability concerns, including, but not limited to, funds from governmental, quasi-governmental, nonprofit organizations, for-profit organizations and individuals; provided, that any funds received from private organizations and individuals shall be made without conditions and without recourse. Amounts credited to the fund shall not be subject to further appropriation and any money remaining in the fund at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the General Fund.
(b) The executive office shall administer the fund consistent with the requirements of the Massachusetts healthy homes program established in section 33.
(c) Annually, not later than June 30, the executive office shall report on all expenditures from the Massachusetts healthy homes program fund to the clerks of the house of representatives and the senate, the joint committee on housing and the house and senate committees on ways and means. The executive office shall make the report publicly available on its website.
