Section 13 - Acquisition of real property

The corporation, upon making a finding that it is necessary or convenient to acquire any real property for its immediate or future use, may acquire such property in any lawful manner, pursuant to the provisions of the eminent domain procedure law, notwithstanding that such property may already be devoted to a public use, nor shall such property thereafter be taken for any other public use without the consent of the corporation.

Prior to the commencement of condemnation proceedings, the corporation shall cause a survey and map to be made of the property to be condemned and file the same in its office. There shall be annexed thereto a certificate, executed by such officer or employee as the corporation may designate, stating that the property described in such survey and map is necessary for corporate purposes.
