Section 13-602 - Establishment of program(a) The Secretary shall establish a program for the universal hearing screening of newborns and early identification and follow-up of newborns and infants who have, or who are at risk for developing, a permanent hearing status that affects speech-language skills.(b) The program shall be based on the model system developed by the Department.Amended by 2014 Md.
