Section 11-1008.1 - Class C (small yacht club) license(a) There is a Class C (small yacht club) license.(b) An application for the license shall be signed by at least one officer of the club who is a resident, registered voter, and taxpayer of the county.(c) The Board may issue the license for use by a small yacht club that: (1) has at least 30 members paying dues of at least $75 per year per member; and(2) at the time of application for the license, maintains:(i) a clubhouse that is principally for the use of members and guests when accompanied by members; and(ii) slips, boat parking spaces, or berths for at least 25 boats.(d) The license authorizes the license holder to sell beer, wine, and liquor for on-premises consumption at the place described in the license to:(1) a member of the yacht club; or(2) a member's guest when accompanied by the member.(e) The license holder may sell beer, wine, and liquor during the hours and days as set out for a Class C beer, wine, and liquor license under § 11-2004 of this title.(f) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a holder of the license may purchase alcoholic beverages from a retail dealer.(g) The annual license fee is $525.Added by 2020 Md.
