Section 45-9-84.3 - Georgia State Indemnification Fund - Authority of department as to payments from fundThe department is authorized, subject to the limitations contained in this part:
(1) To pay the appropriate indemnification to the persons eligible for indemnification under this part from the proceeds of the Georgia State Indemnification Fund;(2) To make such payments as may be necessary to defray the expenses and costs incurred by the department in administering this part; and(3) To utilize the resources of the Georgia State Indemnification Fund to purchase insurance to provide for such indemnification.Amended by 2023 Ga.
