Section 16242 - Power to pay or contest, settle or release claims
The trustee has the power to do any of the following:
(a) Pay or contest any claim.(b) Settle a claim by or against the trust by compromise, arbitration, or otherwise.(c) Release, in whole or in part, any claim belonging to the trust.
