Section 11857 - Title; purpose; construction(a)This chapter shall be known, and may be cited, as the California Ethical Treatment for Persons with Substance Use Disorder Act.(b)The purpose of this chapter is to provide protection for substance use disorder treatment clients and their families. This chapter shall be construed in favor of maximizing protections for clients and families, and the communities in which they live.Ca. Health and Saf. Code § 11857
