Section 19-10-206 - Meetings
(a)
(1) The Arkansas State Claims Commission shall meet at the time and place designated by the Chair of the Arkansas State Claims Commission, the cochairs of the Arkansas State Claims Commission, or the Director of the Arkansas State Claims Commission.
(2) General meetings of the commission for the purpose of hearing testimony and taking evidence shall be held each month unless scheduled differently by the chair, the cochairs, or the director.
(b) The commission may hold a special meeting of the commission upon request by the interested parties.
(c) The commission shall meet in Little Rock but may conduct hearings elsewhere in the state if the commission determines that a hearing is relevant to business before the commission.
(d)
(1) A majority of the commissioners shall constitute a quorum, and the concurrence of two (2) members of the commission shall be necessary for the allowance or disallowance of any claims.
(2) A vacancy does not impair the right of the remaining two (2) commissioners assigned to a particular hearing to exercise all powers of the full commission.
