Section 13-3414 - Convicted person's information to be sent to licensing board and the department of economic security; suspension or revocation of license or registrationA. On the conviction of a person of an offense in this chapter, the court or, if directed by the court, the clerk of the court shall provide the convicted person's name, case number, date of conviction and crime convicted of and, if known, the convicted person's social security number, date of birth, address and license or registration number to all of the following: 1. The board or officer, if any, by whom the convicted defendant has been licensed or registered to practice a profession or to carry on a business. On the conviction of any such person, the court, in its discretion, may suspend or revoke the license or registration of the convicted defendant to practice the profession or to carry on the business. On the application of any person whose license or registration has been suspended or revoked, and on proper showing and for good cause, the board or officer may reinstate the license or registration.2. If the court has knowledge that the convicted person receives temporary assistance for needy families cash benefits, the department of economic security.B. On request of an entity listed in subsection A of this section, the court or, if directed by the court, the clerk of the court shall provide the requesting entity with a copy of the convicted person's judgment and sentence and of the opinion of the court, if any opinion is filed.Amended by L. 2017, ch. 8,s. 2, eff. 8/9/2017.Amended by L. 2014, ch. 157,s. 1, eff. 7/24/2014.
