Section 04.16.055 - Room rental for purposes of consuming alcoholic beverages(a) A person may not rent a room in a hotel, motel, resort, or similar business for the purpose of providing alcoholic beverages to a person under the age of 21 years.(b) A person who knowingly rents a room in a hotel, motel, resort, or similar business for the purpose of providing alcoholic beverages to a person under 21 years of age commits the crime of renting a room for the purpose of providing alcoholic beverages to a person under 21 years of age.(c) Renting a room for the purpose of providing alcoholic beverages to a person under 21 years of age is a class A misdemeanor.Amended by SLA 2022, ch. 8,sec. 106, eff. 1/1/2024.
