Section 9VAC5-80-160 - Transfer of permits

A. No person shall transfer a permit from one location to another, unless authorized under 9VAC5-80-130, or from one piece of equipment to another.

B. In the case of a transfer of ownership of a stationary source, the new owner shall comply with any current permit issued to the previous owner. The new owner shall notify the department of the change in ownership within 30 days of the transfer and shall comply with the requirements of 9VAC5-80-200.

C. In the case of a name change of a stationary source, the owner shall comply with any current permit issued under the previous source name. The owner shall notify the department of the change in source name within 30 days of the name change and shall comply with the requirements of 9VAC5-80-200.
