Section 8VAC20-800-190 - Physical and mental health examinations for caregivers and household membersA. The provider or the department's representative may require a report of examination by a licensed physician or mental health professional when there are indications that a caregiver's or household member's physical or mental health may endanger the health, safety, or well-being of children in care.B. A caregiver or household member who is determined by a licensed physician or mental health professional to show an indication of a physical or mental condition that may endanger the health, safety, or well-being of children in care or that would prevent the performance of duties shall be removed immediately from contact with children and food served to children until the condition is cleared as evidenced by a signed statement from the physician or mental health professional.8 Va.
