Section 1VAC45-20-75 - Withdrawal of a complaint by a complainantA. A complaint filed by or on behalf of a person claiming to be aggrieved by a violation of the Act may be withdrawn only by the person claiming to be aggrieved and only with consent of the division. The director or the director's designee may grant consent to a request to withdraw a complaint, other than a complaint initiated by the division, where the withdrawal of the complaint will not defeat the purposes of the Act. B. A request for the withdrawal of a complaint shall be made in writing and signed by the person claiming to be aggrieved by the alleged unlawful discriminatory employment practice. The director or the director's designee shall likewise sign and date the request for withdrawal upon granting consent.1 Va. Admin. Code § 45-20-75
