Section 265.184 - Slides and other Aquatic Play Features(a) Proper installation of a slide or other aquatic play feature. A slide or other aquatic play feature, such as a climbing wall, floating amusement island, zip line, or anchored floats, must be installed according to manufacturer's instructions or in accordance with the specifications established by a licensed engineer or licensed architect.(b) Amusement ride. An aquatic play feature or slide that meets the definition of "Amusement Ride" in Texas Occupations Code, Chapter 2151 (the Amusement Ride Safety Inspection and Insurance Act) must comply with that chapter.(c) Jumping rocks or ledges. Pools with diving or jumping rocks or ledges must be designed by a licensed engineer or licensed architect.25 Tex. Admin. Code § 265.184
