Section 375.609 - Calculation of Individual Income

HHSC calculates individual income in accordance with Internal Revenue Code §36B(d)(2)(B), with adjustments for lump sum payments, certain income of American Indians/Alaskan Natives, and scholarships, awards, and fellowship grants used for education.
