Section 17:60:01:04 - Location and schedule of meetings

The regular meetings of the board shall be at South Dakota Department of Corrections facilities. Prior to the first day of each calendar year, the board shall publish a schedule of hearing dates and locations for the upcoming calendar year. The board may hear special cases at any other time and at any place within the state by giving written notice to the inmate whose case is to be heard at least five days before the hearing. The notice shall be furnished also to the inmate's attorney, if known to the board.
