Section 79-7 - Change of Business Name/AddressAny licensed entity changing business name, address or any other information as presented on the original application must notify the Department within twenty (20) days by completing an updated application. The licensee shall not do business under a proposed name or at any new location prior to issuance of a new license. A fee will be charged for each updated license issued by the Department. If the change includes a major change in the structure of the business, a new application for license will be required along with the appropriate license fee.
(1) A licensee shall not conduct the business of selling manufactured homes under any other name or at any other location than the one for which licensed unless the license classification is that of multi-lot salesperson.(2) A license will not be issued to a dealer or manufacturer using a business name that is identical or similar to an existing licensee, unless the dealer or manufacturer is owned by, or in conjunction with the existing licensee, and is part of a single business entity, or in conjunction with a franchise arrangement approved by the Board.Added by State Register Volume 29, Issue No. 2, eff February 25, 2005.
