Section 47-53 - Issuance of SubpoenasA. Subpoenas to compel the attendance of witnesses and the production of records for any hearing of an appeal shall be issued by the Department or its authorized representative or an Appeal Tribunal.B. Subpoenas for witnesses shall be issued only for the witnesses shown to be necessary in the application.C. Witnesses subpoenaed for any hearing before an Appeal Tribunal shall be paid witness and mileage fees by the Department in accordance with the schedule allowed witnesses in the Court of Common Pleas of the County in which the hearing is held.Amended by State Register Volume 24, Issue No. 5, eff May 26, 2000; State Register Volume 35, Issue No. 6, eff June 24, 2011.
