Section 13.14 - Signature(a) Original and duplicate original documents deposited by an agency shall be signed in ink by the chairman, secretary or executive officer of the issuing agency. Initials and impressed signatures will not be acceptable. Certification by an acting officer, vice-chairman, assistant secretary or other like officer will be accepted only if the document has been approved as to form and legality under section 204(b) and either section 301(10) or 402(5) of the Commonwealth Attorneys Act (71 P. S. §§ 732-204(b), 732-301(10) and 732-402(5)).(b) The signature of the Secretary of the Commonwealth or a deputy is sufficient certification of a document issued by the Governor.(c) Original and duplicate original documents deposited by a court shall be signed in ink by the prothonotary or a deputy prothonotary of the court.The provisions of this §13.14 amended January 14, 1972, 2 Pa.B. 59.
