Section 333-060-0205 - Operation and Maintenance(1) Operators of public swimming pools shall be thoroughly knowledgeable on good practices of pool operation and with the laws and rules pertaining to public pools. If, at any time, the pool meets one of the pool closure criteria in OAR 333-060-0705, the pool license holder, operator, or responsible supervisor shall immediately close the pool to the public until the requirements are satisfied. (2)(a) Operators of public pools shall keep records pertaining to the operation and maintenance of the pool which they operate; (b) Such records shall be maintained daily during periods when the pool is open, shall be retained by the operator and made available to the Division on request. All such records shall be retained for a period of two years; (c) Records shall include at least the following: (A) Results of the tests described in Pool Water Quality, OAR 333-060-0200(3) and Table 3; [Tables not included. See ED. NOTE] (B) Date and time of filter backwash; (C) Dates that the pool was emptied or cleaned; (D) Periods of recirculation equipment operation or malfunction and repair. (d) A recommended record keeping form is provided in Appendix B. [Appendix not included. See ED. NOTE] (3)(a) All parts and facilities of public swimming pools and bathhouses shall be kept clean, in good repair and free of safety hazards; (b) All public swimming pools shall provide a vacuum cleaner capable of effectively removing settled material from the bottom of the pool.Or.
