Section 145-9.3 - School allocation

(a) Scholarships for academic excellence shall be allocated to each high school in the State on the basis of the procedure prescribed in paragraph (b) of subdivision 1 of section 605-a of the Education Law.

(b) If the number of scholarships allocated to a high school is larger than the number of students who meet the requirements for selection as a scholarship nominee, pursuant to the selection criteria set forth in section 145-9.5 of this Subpart, such excess number of scholarships shall lapse.
