Section 712-1.2 - General standards
(a) General hospitals shall be constructed to maintain a safe and functional physical environment for all services that the licensed operator of the general hospital provides. When pediatric, psychiatric, obstetric or other services are not provided in the general hospital, the licensed operator shall inform patients needing such services of the name and location of health providers that provide such services. The department may approve modifications or deletions in space requirements when services are permitted to be shared. General hospital facilities shall comply with all pertinent requirements, technical standards and codes set forth or incorporated by reference into Part 711 of this Title.
