Section 69-3.9 - Medical exemption from immunization

If any licensed physician or health care practitioner practicing under the supervision of a licensed physician certifies that a follow-up dose of hepatitis B vaccine may be detrimental to a child's health, the requirements of this Subpart regarding follow-up immunizations shall be inapplicable until such immunization is found no longer to be detrimental to such child's health. The nature and duration of the medical exemption must be stated in the child's medical record.
