Section 272-1.2 - Labeling and advertising requirements(a) Except as otherwise exempted in this Part, no person shall produce, prepare, package, advertise, sell or offer for sale at retail any meat unless it is clearly and conspicuously labeled or advertised, as the case may be, as to its true name.(b) This section shall not require the labeling of meat cut to the order of the retail customer.N.Y.
