The state purchasing agent or central purchasing office shall maintain records of emergency procurements for a period as required by the commission of public records, state records center and archives statutes and rules. The party responsible for the procurement must retain the records. Posting such procurements on the state purchasing agent's website does not remove the central purchasing office's responsibility to maintain these records if the central purchasing office was responsible for the procurement.
