Section 8:43A-31.1 - Water supply(a) The water supply used for drinking or culinary purposes shall be adequate in quantity, of a safe and sanitary quality, and from a water system which shall be constructed, protected, operated, and maintained in conformance with the New Jersey Safe Drinking Water Act, N.J.S.A. 58:12A-1et seq., N.J.A.C. 7:10, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations. There shall be no back siphonage conditions present. Copies of the Safe Drinking Water Act can be obtained from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Water Quality, PO Box 209, Trenton, NJ 08625-0209.(b) Hot running water (between 105 and 120 degrees Fahrenheit or 41 to 49 degrees Celsius) and cold running water shall be provided in patient care areas.
