Section 19:9-4.1 - General provisions
(a) Except as otherwise provided by law, all "public records," as that term is defined by the Open Public Records Act, N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq. (OPRA), shall be available to any individual for the purpose of inspection or hand copying during regular business hours at the Authority's main offices at 1 Turnpike Plaza, Woodbridge, New Jersey 07095, in accordance with the procedure set forth in N.J.A.C. 19:9-4.3. Other records within the possession of the Authority may be made available for inspection or copying subject to applicable law. For convenience, the Authority recommends that any request made under this subchapter be made using forms provided by the Authority and available on the Authority's website, www.nj.gov/turnpike.
(b) Except as otherwise specified herein, copies of records may be obtained by written request by mail or facsimile to:

(c) Copies of accident reports concerning accidents on the Roadway may be obtained through a link on the Authority's website at www.nj.gov/turnpike.
(d) Copies of bid documents for contractors and vendors bidding on work, services, or materials shall be obtained at fees established by the Authority to cover printing and distribution costs and published in the advertisement for the receipt of bids, subject to applicable law.
(e) The fees for obtaining Authority records, which are set forth in N.J.A.C. 19:9-4.3, shall be collectable at or before delivery of the documents copied. Payment shall be made by check or money order payable to the New Jersey Turnpike Authority.
