Section 13:20-31.1 - Scope
(a) This subchapter establishes school bus enhanced safety inspection out-of-service criteria. The out-of-service criteria set forth in this subchapter denote critical school bus vehicle inspection items.
(b) The rules set forth in this subchapter are consistent with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards established by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the National School Transportation Specifications and Procedures, 2010 Revised Edition, which are incorporated herein by reference, as amended and supplemented, have been issued by the 2010 National Conference on School Transportation and may be obtained at http://www.ncstonline.org.
