Section 11:3-2A.1 - Purpose and scope

(a) The purpose of this subchapter is to assist certain low income individuals in this State and encourage their greater compliance in satisfying the mandatory private passenger automobile insurance requirements imposed by 39:6A-3.2.

(b) This subchapter shall apply to all insurers transacting private passenger automobile insurance in this State, the PAIP and to all insurance producers licensed in this State.
