Section 640A.Sec. 2.1 - NEW

A licensee shall maintain competence in the practice of occupational therapy and his or her personal scope of practice. For the purposes of this section, a licensee demonstrates the maintenance of competence through the licensee's application of the knowledge, skill and behavior required to function effectively, safely, ethically and legally within the scope of practice of occupational therapy.
