Section 253-6-001 - Clarifications & Interpretations

In order to clarify certain language of Neb. Rev. Stat. § 60-1417, and to provide clear instructions in line with automotive and trailer industry practices the following interpretations are declared:

001.01 Where "year of model" and "year and model" appears, this shall be construed to mean "make, year, model, and body type, where applicable".

001.02 Where reference is made to "serial number" this shall also be construed to mean "identification number".
