Section 8 CSR 10-4.140 - Clarification of Beauty Salon and Similar EstablishmentPURPOSE: This rule provides clarification of terms beauty salon and similar establishment as contained in section 288.032.4, RSMo.
(1) As used in section 288.032.4, RSMo, the term beauty salon shall be limited to an establishment which is required to obtain a certificate of registration under section 329.045, RSMo.(2) As used in section 288.032.4, RSMo, the term similar establishment shall be limited to an establishment in which the occupation of a barber, as defined in section 328.010, RSMo, is performed.
