Section 10.53.09.01 - Definitions

A. In this chapter, the following terms have the meanings indicated.

B. Terms Defined.

(1) Critical Items.

(a) "Critical items" means the instruments or objects that come in direct contact with the bloodstream or other normally sterile areas of the body.

(b) "Critical items" includes tweezers and needles.

(2) "Transfer forceps" means a medical tool that is used for grasping or holding things.
