Section 10.53.08.06 - TreatmentA. Skin area to be treated shall first be cleansed thoroughly with 70 percent isopropyl alcohol.B. An electrologist may not treat any mucous membrane or the external auditory canal of the ear without written approval of a licensed physician.C. An electrologist may not treat an infected area or skin malignancy.D. Applications To Be Used After Treatment. (1) One of the following applications shall be applied to the tissue after treatment: (a) 70 percent isopropyl alcohol;(c) Hydrogen peroxide; or(d) Other approved antiseptic for the skin.(2) Ice, healing cream, or healing lotion may be used at the electrologist's discretion.(3) Specific home care instructions shall be given to each patient after treatment.Md.
