Section 10.37.10.21 - Computations of Time Periods and Extensions
A. In computing any period of time prescribed by these regulations, by order of the Commission or by any applicable statute, the day of the action or default initiating the designated period of time not be included. The last day of the period so computed is to be included unless it is a day on which the office of the Commission is closed, in which event the period runs until the end of the next day on which the office of the Commission is open. When the period of time allowed is more than 5 days, intermediate Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays shall be considered in the same manner as other days, but if the period of time allowed is 5 days or less, intermediate Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays may be not counted in computing the period of time.
B. At the discretion of the Executive Director or his designee and, upon reasonable cause being shown by the submitting party, a period of time to submit a document or perform any other act permitted or prescribed by these regulations may be extended for a reasonable period of time.
