Section 10.01.20.01 - Scope

A. This chapter applies to the collection by the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene of a quality assessment, pursuant to Health-General Article, §19-310.1, Annotated Code of Maryland, to be paid on a quarterly basis by nursing facilities subject to the assessment.

B. All amounts collected under this chapter shall be distributed to a special fund to be used by the Department only to fund reimbursements to nursing facilities under the Medicaid program.
