Section 031-180-12 - Acquisition of Person in Control of a Domestic InsurerA. If the person being acquired controls a domestic insurer, the name of the domestic insurer should be indicated as follows on the cover page of Form A: "ABC Insurance Company, a subsidiary of XYZ Holding Company."
B. Where control of a domestic insurer is being acquired through acquisition of its controlling person, references to "the insurer" contained in Form A shall refer to both the domestic subsidiary insurer and the person being acquired.02-031 C.M.R. ch. 180, § 12
