Section XLV-4503 - CompensationA. A physician assistant may receive compensation, salary or wages only from his or her employer and may neither render a statement for service directly to any patient nor receive any payment, compensation or fee for services directly from any patient.B. Nothing in this Section shall prohibit charges from being submitted to any governmental or private payer for services rendered by a physician assistant.La. Admin. Code tit. 46, § XLV-4503
