Section XLV-3355 - Waiver of RequirementA. The board may, in its discretion, waive all or part of the continuing professional education required by these rules in favor of a polysomnographic technologist who makes a written request for such waiver to the board and evidences to its satisfaction a permanent physical disability, illness, financial hardship, or other similar extenuating circumstances precluding the individual's satisfaction of the continuing professional education requirement. Any licensed polysomnographic technologist submitting a continuing professional education waiver request is required to do so on or before the date specified by this Chapter for the renewal of the licensee's license. Any request received by the board past the date for licensure renewal will not be considered for waiver but, rather, in accordance with the provisions of §3351 of these rules.La. Admin.
