Section XLV-1977 - Waiver of RequirementsA. The board may, in its discretion and upon the recommendation of the advisory committee, waive all or part of the continuing professional education required by these rules in favor of an occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant who makes written request for such waiver to the board and evidences to the satisfaction of the board a permanent physical disability, illness, financial hardship, or other similar extenuating circumstances precluding the individual's satisfaction of the continuing professional education requirements.La.
