Section LIII-1513 - LabelingA. All drugs dispensed or compounded by a hospital pharmacy, intended for use within the facility, shall be dispensed in appropriate containers and adequately labeled as to identify patient name and location, drug name(s) and strength, and medication dose(s). Additionally, compounded preparations and sterile preparations shall be labeled with the expiration date or beyond-use date, initials of the preparer, and the pharmacist performing the final check.La.
