Section I-3715 - Schedule of Maximum AllowancesA. The reimbursement allowances for home and vehicle modifications are determined by obtaining bids for the specific modifications. Maximum allowable reimbursement schedules cannot be preset or predetermined. A minimum of three bids should be obtained by the carrier/self-insured employer whenever possible.B. The payment agreed to by the carrier/self-insured employer represents the maximum allowance and constitutes payment in full for the services. No additional charge to the claimant is allowed. No charge shall be submitted to the carrier/self-insured employer before the service has been performed. All home and vehicle modifications require prior authorization.La. Admin.
