Section V-6347 - Excessive Entry of HorsesA. In the event the number of entries to any purse race is in excess of the number of horses permitted to start in such race, the starters for the race shall be determined by lot in the presence of those making the entries and the post positions shall be in the order in which they are drawn. The same methods shall be employed in determining the starters and post positions in split races.La. Admin. Code tit. 35, § V-6347
